Instalación
- Instala desde Chrome Web Store o Edge Add-ons (cuando esté disponible).
- Fija el icono de My2Doo en la barra de herramientas para acceso rápido.
- Abre el popup haciendo clic en el icono.
La primera vez, el navegador puede pedirte permisos para notificaciones. Acepta para recibir avisos de finalización.
Conceptos básicos
Crear tareas
Añade un título, una estimación en minutos y notas opcionales. Las tareas nuevas empiezan como pendientes.
Estados
pendiente activa pausada hecha
Una sola tarea activa a la vez.
Progreso
El anillo de progreso y la insignia del icono muestran el tiempo restante. La insignia cambia cuando el tiempo termina.
Temporizadores
- Iniciar: inicia el conteo según la estimación. Si otra tarea estaba activa, se pausa automáticamente.
- Pausar: detiene el conteo y conserva el tiempo acumulado.
- Detener: marca la tarea como hecha y guarda el tiempo final.
- Aviso: al acercarse al final (según umbral), verás una advertencia opcional.
- Fin: al terminar, puedes marcar hecha o extender añadiendo minutos.
Widget en página (overlay)
El widget muestra el título de la tarea activa y el tiempo restante sobre la página actual.
- Abre Ajustes en el popup.
- Activa Mostrar overlay.
- Si el navegador lo solicita, concede el permiso de sitio para habilitar el overlay.
Puedes desactivar el overlay cuando quieras. El permiso de sitios se puede revocar desde los ajustes del navegador.
Notificaciones y sonido
- Notificaciones: al llegar al aviso y al final del tiempo asignado.
- Sonido: tono corto en aviso y final, si está activado en Ajustes.
- Insignia: muestra minutos restantes; al terminar, resalta para llamar la atención.
Historial y finalización
- Al completar, la tarea se guarda con tiempos estimado y real.
- El panel de historial permite revisar y organizar tareas completadas.
- Si el tiempo termina mientras estás ocupado, la extensión te recordará finalizar o extender cuando vuelvas.
Ajustes

Exportar / Importar
Desde el popup puedes exportar tus datos (tareas, preferencias, historial) a un archivo y volver a importarlos cuando lo necesites.
Los datos se guardan de forma local en tu navegador y no se envían a servidores externos.
Solución de problemas
- No suenan los avisos: activa el sonido en Ajustes y verifica el volumen del sistema. En algunos casos, el navegador puede requerir interacción previa para habilitar audio.
- No aparecen notificaciones: confirma que el permiso de notificaciones esté concedido y que no estén silenciadas.
- Overlay no visible: asegúrate de que está activado y que el permiso de sitios esté concedido.
- Insignia sin minutos: inicia una tarea para ver el conteo; se borra al pausar/detener.

Install
- Install from the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons (when available).
- Pin the My2Doo icon to your toolbar for quick access.
- Open the popup by clicking the icon.
On first run, your browser may request notifications permission. Allow it to receive end‑of‑timer alerts.
Basics
Create tasks
Add a title, estimated minutes, and optional notes. New tasks start as pending.
Status
pending active paused done
Only one active task at a time.
Progress
The progress ring and toolbar badge show remaining time. The badge changes when time is up.
Timers
- Start: begin counting down from your estimate. If another task is active, it’s paused automatically.
- Pause: stop counting and keep accumulated time.
- Stop: mark the task as done and store the final time.
- Warn: near the end (per threshold), you can get a warning.
- End: when finished, you can mark done or extend by adding minutes.
On‑page Widget (overlay)
The widget shows the active task’s title and remaining time over the current page.
- Open Settings in the popup.
- Enable Show overlay.
- If prompted, grant site permission to enable the overlay.
You can disable the overlay anytime. Site permission can be revoked in your browser settings.
Notifications & Sound
- Notifications: at warning and when the allotted time ends.
- Sound: short tones at warn/end if enabled in Settings.
- Badge: shows remaining minutes; when done, it highlights to draw attention.
History & Completion
- On completion, the task is saved with estimated and actual minutes.
- The history panel lets you review and organize completed tasks.
- If time runs out while you’re busy, the extension will remind you to complete or extend on return.
Settings

Troubleshooting
- No sounds: enable sound in Settings and check system volume. Some browsers require a user interaction first.
- No notifications: ensure notification permission is granted and not muted.
- Overlay missing: confirm it’s enabled and site permission granted.
- Badge empty: start a task to see minutes; it clears on pause/stop.
